So last week we put the decision in your hands and asked the community as a whole if Dual Wield perks should be completely removed from Battle Royale.
Here are the results:
The majority has spoken and it was a complete landslide with 79.2% of people voting to remove!
So, as of Tuesday's daily reboot, dual wield will be entirely removed from Battle Royale.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote. Keep an eye out on the What Say You section of the forums for any more polls in the upcoming weeks. We love hearing what you guys are saying, and want to make sure that we're involving you in decisions like this.
NOTE: The /skill dual wield perk and the /outpost dual wield perk have been removed from Battle Royale. You may still be able to put other items in your offhand - but this will have no advantage in combat situations.
We've been hearing rumors that “session tokens” are being used to compromise accounts.
Session tokens are located in your “latest log” as well as other locations and players hoping to compromise an account will often make any excuse for you to voluntarily show it to them, such as asking to see your “latest.log”.
Example: You're about to do a trade and the player says "I need to see your logs to make sure you're not messaging someone that you're going to scam me". Consider it a scam and attempt to compromise your acct.
Players should note:
Do NOT show your Latest.log to any individual especially when “confirming a deal”
Do NOT share your minecraft/Cosmic Client files with another individual
Do NOT share anything with your session token in it to another individual
Players are once again STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to have 2fa or 2 Step Verification active on ANY of our...
What a week it's been- we've been keeping an eye on everyone's progress and are ASTOUNDED at some of the amazing farms, builds, and grinders you've all started making. Along with the hard work that you're all putting in, our developers continue to fix bugs as fast as you're putting them in AS WELL as finding time to add new content. Phew! Time to find a quiet, soft corner to curl up in whilst you all read this week's update...
It's official, it has been one week since the official release of CosmicSky! We have seen all of your suggestions and really appreciate the feedback! The developers have been busy smashing those darn bugs and have added some new features for you guys to enjoy!
With reaching over 2000 concurrent players at once, CosmicSky is certainly the place to be right now! Along with this is the room to open our fantastic staff team up for new recruits!
If you're familiar with CosmicPvP and CosmicPrisons you'll know that we, at Cosmic, pride ourselves on having what we believe to be one of, if not THE best staff teams around. We are like a family; We support each other, help each other and have a fantastic relationship with all the other staff members- each and every single member of staff is valued and appreciated. That being said, if you're not familiar with either PvP or Prisons, don't write yourself off about applying. Previous staffing experience, especially on another Cosmic server, is not a requirement!
Now, that's not to say that staffing is easy- there is a very high expectation of staff on Cosmic, from the community and other staff. However, this is what gives us a fantastic reputation.
We are over 72 hours into the release of CosmicSky and so far it has been a blast! We really appreciate all of the feedback you guys are giving. The developers have been diligently working to smash those bugs you guys have been reporting, they've also added some additional features as well! Here are some of the changes that have taken place within the last 72 hours.
Updates and New Features!
We've heard your suggestions and implemented the ability to see a breakdown of Island wealth. Whenever you hover over an island on /is top it will show you the breakdown, so you can see what exactly those top islands are spending their hard earned cash on!
What an adventure it's been, so many bugs, so many exploits, such amazing feedback! We appreciate everyone's feedback and the effort the community as a whole has put in, however, as I'm sure many of you knew, behind the scenes we Admins have been keeping a tally on bug reports wanting to make sure to extend a special thank you to those who:
Followed procedure and made Bug Reports using Support Tickets
Gave concise feedback and detailed information
Went above and beyond to make sure to try to test EVERYTHING possible
Reported bugs and exploits in a timely manner
And I'm thrilled to announce the final tally is in:
